Bigbest.Construction

A recruiter that has held the trowel.

We are a construction recruitment and staffing business. We supply CSCS-carded trades and site labour to contractors across London, and we place permanent site staff. We also run our own building and electrical jobs — which is exactly why we know a good trade from a CV that reads well.

BIGBEST CONSTRUCTION LTD was incorporated on 21 August 2025 as a private limited company registered in England and Wales, company number 16666260, with its registered office at 49 Mansell Road, Greenford UB6 9EL.

Our activity is registered against four UK Standard Industrial Classification codes. Two are the recruitment business and they are the bulk of what we do: 78200 — Temporary employment agency activities and 78109 — Other activities of employment placement agencies. Two are the work we deliver ourselves: 41202 — Construction of domestic buildings and 43210 — Electrical installation.

Temporary staffing means the operative stays on our payroll and you buy the hours — labourers, groundworkers, carpenters, bricklayers, plasterers, electricians, plant operators and supervisors. Permanent placement means we find the site manager, contracts manager or QS and you put them on your own books.

As an employment business and placement agency we operate under the Employment Agencies Act 1973 and the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003 — which means, among other things, that we never charge a worker a fee. Not to register, not to be put forward, not to start.

02 — How we work

Four rules we do not bend.

Not posters on a portacabin wall. These are the four things that decide whether a client calls us again or calls somebody else.

01

Certificates, not promises

Electrical work is tested and certified before we leave, and building control is signed off before we invoice the final stage.

02

The price is the price

Itemised written quotation before we start. Variations are priced and agreed in writing before the work is done, never bolted on at the end.

03

We turn up

The single most common complaint about builders is that they vanish. Our crews are directly engaged, so when we say Monday we mean Monday.

04

You get your house back

Dust sheets, sealed doorways, a swept site at the end of every day, and waste removed by a licensed carrier — not left in a pile out front.

03 — For trades

Looking for work? Get on the list.

We recruit continuously — labourers, groundworkers, bricklayers, carpenters, electricians and site supervisors. Send us your details and your cards once, and we call you when something near you starts.

We never charge a worker a penny to find them work. If anyone claiming to represent us asks you for money, do not pay, and tell us.

Who you'll deal with.

Every job gets a named contact from the first survey to the final certificate — not a different number each time you ring.

05 — Questions

Straight answers.

Anything not covered here, ask before you sign anything — we would rather answer it now.

We are based at Greenford in the London Borough of Ealing and work across West London and the surrounding boroughs — Ealing, Hillingdon, Brent, Harrow, Hounslow and out along the A40. For larger construction contracts we will travel further; ask when you enquire.

Our registered construction activity is SIC 41202, construction of domestic buildings, so houses and flats are our ground. Electrical installation under SIC 43210 is not limited to domestic, and we do take commercial electrical work — offices, shops and small industrial units. If you have a commercial building project, tell us the scope and we will be straight with you about whether it is one for us.

Electrical installation work is carried out and certified to BS 7671, the 18th Edition of the IET Wiring Regulations, and notifiable work is handled under Part P of the Building Regulations. You receive the relevant Electrical Installation Certificate or Minor Electrical Installation Works Certificate with your test results on it. Our competent person scheme registration is listed on the standards section.

We survey first, then issue an itemised written quotation with a scope, a start date and a payment schedule. Larger construction jobs are staged against milestones. Extras are priced and agreed in writing before the work happens — you will not find them for the first time on the final invoice.

We deal with building control inspections and sign-off as part of the works, and we will work alongside your architect, structural engineer and party wall surveyor. We are not planning consultants — if your project needs a planning application we will tell you early and point you at someone who does it properly.

Yes. We supply CSCS-carded labourers, groundworkers, carpenters, bricklayers and electricians to other contractors by the day, the week or the length of a programme. Everyone has their identity and right to work verified before they arrive. See site labour supply for how it works.

Come and look at the job.

A survey costs you nothing and tells us more than any set of photographs. Book one and you will have a written price back in days, not weeks.
